Did you receive a notice about providing proof of insurance?

You may have received a phone call or notice concerning the insurance coverage on the vehicle or mortgage you have financed with us. We request updated insurance information when proof of insurance has expired or lapsed to keep our records up-to-date. By providing this information you assure us that your property is protected as required by your loan agreement.

To make updating your vehicle insurance information as convenient as possible, RiverLand has partnered with an Insurance Service Center to collect and verify your insurance.

Update Your Vehicle Insurance

Your Policy Declaration Page is needed showing the following:  (ID cards are not acceptable proof of insurance)

  • A loss payable clause endorsement naming RiverLand Federal Credit Union as lienholder
  • A full collateral description including the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
  • Comprehensive and collision coverage with a maximum $2,100 deductible
  • The effective and expiration dates of coverage
  • Name and address of the insured borrower

Update Your Home Insurance

Your Policy Declaration Page is needed showing the following:  (ID cards are not acceptable proof of insurance)

  • A loss payable clause endorsement naming RiverLand Federal Credit Union as mortgagee
  • The physical address of the insured property
  • Dwelling coverage in the amount of the line of credit limit
  • The effective and expiration dates of coverage
  • Name and address of the insured borrower
  • Flood insurance may be required in certain locations
