Learn how to navigate through all the features in our online banking platform and mobile banking app with our easy-to-follow instructions. You'll see the tags *new feature* or *enhanced* next to services that have been recently added or improved.
Click the Online Banking Login button on RiverLand's website.
Click Register. NOTE: If you're using our mobile app, the register button will be at the bottom of your screen.
Verify your identity by filling out the form.
Account Number: enter your primary account number with no hyphens, dashes, or suffixes. You can find your account number on the Membership Cards either given or mailed to you after joining RiverLand.
Last 4 SSN: enter only the last 4 digits of your social security number.
Email Address: enter the primary email address on your account.
Birth Date: enter the primary member's date of birth
Check the box to accept the terms and conditions.
Click Verify.
Set Up Your Username & Password.
Username Requirements:
Must be 6 to 15 characters
Cannot begin with a number
Cannot contain special characters (only letters and numbers)
Password Requirements:
Must be 8 to 20 characters
Must have at least one letter
Must have at least one number
Special characters allowed: !#$%^&*()+{}[]|\;'?,
Click Setup. Then, you will be directed back to the Sign In page to start using Online Banking.
How To Sign In & Verify Security Code
Go to either riverlandfcu.org or to your RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
If you're on the website, go to the Online Banking Login and click the drop-down.
Enter your username and password. Click Sign In.
If the device you're using is not recognized, you will be prompted to verify a security code.
The security code can either be emailed or sent to you by text based on which delivery method you choose.
After you receive the code, enter it into the space provided, and click Verify Identity.
How to Reset Your Password
Whether you're signing in on our website or mobile app, click Forgot Username/Password.
On the next screen, select Forgot Password
Enter your username and account number, and click Continue.
You will be asked to verify a code using a mobile phone number that can accept text messages. Choose your number from the dropdown and select Continue.
Within a minute, you should receive a code via text. Enter the Verification Code and select Submit.
Enter your new password and confirm it. The red X next to View Requirements will turn to a blue check when your password meets our requirements. Click the Submit.
You should receive a confirmation message and now be able to log in.
Password Requirements:

How to Reset Your Username
Whether you're signing in on our website or mobile app, click Trouble Signing In.
On the next screen, select Forgot Username.
Enter your account number, the last four numbers of your social security number, and your birthdate.Select Continue.
You will be asked to verify a code using a mobile phone number that can accept text messages. Choose your number from the dropdown and select Continue.
Within a minute, you should receive a code via text. Enter the Verification Code and select Submit.
Your username will be displayed on the screen.
How to Unlock Your Account
If your password has been typed incorrectly 3 or more times, your account will be temporarily locked. Typically, it will remain locked for 10 minutes before you can try logging in again. You can either wait 10 minutes or reset your password using the "Forgot Username/Password" option. If you cannot reset your password and unlock your account online, please call 504-576-5800 (option 3) during business hours to have your account unlocked.
Whether you're signing in on our website or mobile app, click Forgot Username/Password.
On the next screen, select Forgot Password
Enter your username and account number, and click Continue.

How To Download the Mobile App
To download our mobile app, go to your device's app store and search for RiverLand FCU.
In Security, click on the toggle next to Face ID (Fingerprint if using an Android).
How To Update/Change Your Username
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Settings from the main menu on the left side.
Select Security from the top options.
Select Change Username.
Enter your New Username.
Once your new username meets the requirements, you can click the Change Username button.
How To Update/Change Your Password
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Settings from the main menu on the left side.
Select Security from the top options.
Select Change Password.
Enter your new Password.
Once your new password meets the requirements, you can click the Change Password button.
How To Update/Change Your Email Address

How To Rename Your Accounts
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Settings from the main menu on the left side.
Select Accountsfrom the top options.
Select Nicknames.
Add Nicknames for your accounts for better clarity.
Select Save.
How To Find Your Account Number for Direct Deposit
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select More Services from the main menu on the left side.
Select Routing and Account Numbers.
View your account numbers that can receive a direct deposit.
How To Setup Alerts
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select "Settings" in the Menu.
Select "Alerts."
Make sure your contact info is correct.
On a desktop, you can select the tab labeled "My Alerts."
In the mobile app, click the toggle menu and select "My Alerts" from the dropdown.
Click "Add New Subscription."
Select your preferred alert from a wide variety of options.
Choose your delivery method (you can select more than one).
Choose the accounts you want this alert applied to.
Save your changes and click "Ok" in the pop-up window.
How To Set Up Quick Balance
Sign in to the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Go to the Menu and select Settings.
In Settings, select Quick Balance.
In Quick Balance, you can toggle on the options to view your balance without signing in. Note: Anyone with access to your phone will be able to view your balance if this is selected.
You can manage which accounts are viewable in Quick Balance by selecting Manage Accounts. Then toggle on each account you'd like to be viewable.
After selecting your accounts. Press Save in the upper right corner.
How To Activate Apple Watch
Sign in to the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Go to the Menu and select Settings.
In Settings, select Quick Balance.
In Quick Balance, toggle on the options to view your balance without signing in. Then, you can toggle on the option to View on Apple Watch.
You can manage which accounts are viewable in Quick Balance by selecting Manage Accounts. Then toggle on each account you'd like to be viewable.
After selecting your accounts. Press Save in the upper right corner.
When active, you will be able to view your balances on your Apple Watch.
How To View Your Account Balances
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
When you sign in, the first page will show you all your account balances. If you are a joint owner on another account, you can view the balances here as well. If you are not able to see a certain account, please contact us.
If you are ever on a different page, you can go to the menu and click Accounts to be brought back to your balances.
How to View Your Transaction History
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App
From your account list, click on the Account that you would like to see the transaction history.
All your recent transactions will be listed undert the History tab.
Note: You can search for certain transactions by selecting Search Transactions at the top right of the page.
Enter the description or amount that you are looking for in the search bar.
How To View Card Authorizations

From your account list, click on the Account that you would like to see card authorizations.
Select Card Authfrom the tabbed options on your transaction history page.
How To View Pending ACHs (electronic deposits/ withdrawals)

From your account list, click on the Account that you would like to see Pending ACHs.
Select Pending ACH from the tabbed options in your transaction history.
How To View Account Holds

From your account list, click on the Account that you would like to see current holds.
Select Holds from the tabbed options on the transaction history page.
How To Download Transaction History
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App
From your account list, click on the Account that you would like to see the transaction history.
Scroll to the very bottom of the transaction history page, and select Download.
Enter the date that you would like transactions to begin at and the date you would like for them to stop, also select the format in which you would like your download.
How To Print Transaction History

From your account list, click on the Account that you would like to see the transaction history.
Scroll to the bottom of the transaction history page and select Print.

How To Add Transaction Tags & Notes
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Accounts from the main menu on the left side.
Select the Account that you would like to add transaction tags or notes to.

Click the transaction you would like to add a tag or note to.
Transaction details will pop up and you can add a tag or note in this window.

How To Transfer Funds to Another RiverLand Member
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Transfers from the main menu on the left side.
Select To another memberfrom the top options.
Enter the Required information.
How to Transfer Funds to or from your account at another Bank or Credit Union
Note: For your security, transfers to and from other financial institutions are disabled for new members or for members with no recent activity. To enable transfers, contact us.
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Transfers from the main menu on the left side.
Select With External Accountfrom the top options.
Select whether you want to transfer TO or FROM another Credit Union or Bank.
Next, select the accounts you're transferring between, the date to initiate the transfer, whether you'd like it to be recurring, and the amount. Click Transfer.
You will receive a confirmation. Make sure all the information is correct, and click Transfer.
How To View or Add Another Bank/CU for Transfers
For your security, transfers to and from other financial institutions are disabled for new members or for members with no recent activity. To enable transfers, contact us.
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Transfers from the main menu on the left side.
Select With External Accountfrom the top options.
Scroll down until you see External Accounts. Here you can choose to Add a new account or View/Delete your existing external accounts.
To add a new account, we use Plaid. A new box will pop up to start your account verification. Click Continue.
If plaid is integrated with your other financial institution you will be able to find it in the search. When found, click your financial institution.
If your financial institution cannot be found, you have the option to Link with account numbers by entering your other bank or credit union's routing and account number. This verification method will send micro-deposits to your other financial institution which will then need to be verified.
If your financial institution is recognized, you will be prompted to enter your login credentials. This is the username and password for your other bank or credit union.
Once verified, your account will be listed and you can start making transfers to or from it.
How To View, Edit, or Delete Scheduled Transfers
NOTE: Transfers cannot be deleted during certain processing periods which usually happen between 6-9 pm CST. If you cannot delete a transfer, first try editing and rescheduling it for the next day. Once rescheduled, you should be able to delete it. If you have any other problems editing transfers, please contact us at 504-576-5800 (option 4).

Select Scheduled Transfersfrom the top options.
You will be able to view your scheduled transfers within your account as well as external accounts. Here you can delete any scheduled or reoccurring transfers by clicking the "trash bin" icon to the right of your transfer.
How To Request a Check From Your RiverLand Account
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Transfers from the main menu on the left side.
Select Request checkfrom the top options.
Select the account you wish for the check to come from and the amount.

How to View Payment Details
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Accounts from the main menu on the left side.
Select your loan your list of accounts.
Select Payment Details.
Here you will be able to view your loan payment details.
How to Make a Standard Payment
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Payments from the main menu on the left side.
Select Standard Paymentfrom the top options.
Fill out the required information and select Make a Payment.
How to Make a Principal Payment
Note: A principal payment can only be made after your standard payment is met for the month.
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Payments from the main menu on the left side.
Select Principal Onlyfrom the top options.
Enter the Required information and select Make Payment.
How to Pay from an External Account

You will be able to verify your external account automatically with Plaid.
How To Add Another Financial Institution for Payments

Select Loan Payoff Amounton the page.
Select the loan you would like a payoff for and the amount of days out, select Calculate.
Your loan payoff amount will populate.
How to Skip a Loan Payment
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Payments from the main menu on the left side.
Select Skip Paymentfrom the top options.
Note: If you can't see the Skip Payment button on a desktop or mobile browser, you may need to hit the arrow button on the right side of the menu to scroll through the options.
Select the Account you would like the Skip Payment fee to be withdrawn from and select your Eligible Loan.
Select Submit.
How To Add a New Biller
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Go to the menu and select Bill Pay.
Click the Pay button.
On a desktop, the button will be on the top right.
On mobile, the button will be at the bottom of the page.
Click the plus sign at the top right to Add a Biller.
A list of popular billers will appear. You can either select your biller from the list or use the search.
If you search for a biller and it is known, you can select it from the list and fill in your account information.
If the biller is unknown, a warning message will appear. You can choose to Add the biller manually.
Fill in your billing account information. This information should be copied from your most recent billing statement.
Again, if the biller is not recognized or the bill cannot be paid electronically, you will receive a warning before proceeding.
When you've finished entering all the information, your biller is ready for payment.
You can identify whether the payment will be sent by check or electronically by looking at the labels under the biller's name.

How To Identify Payment as Electronic or Check
You can identify whether your bills are being paid electronically or by mail in two ways.
Look at the label under your biller's name.
When scheduling a payment, if the expected delivery date is more than 2 business days, the bill is being paid by check.
How to View Your Debit/Credit Cards
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Cards from the main menu on the left side.
The next screen will show the debit or credit card associated with your account.
Note: If you have multiple cards you can swipe from card to card, or select the arrow next to the card to switch.
How to Lock Your Debit/Credit Card
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Cards from the main menu on the left side.
Select Lock Card on the page.

How to Report a Damaged Debit/Credit Card

Select the reason for reissuing your card from the drop-down menu.
Once you have selected your reason for reissuing your card you will select Reissue Card.

How to Opt-In for Electronic Statements (eStatements)
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Statements from the main menu on the left side.
Select Manage Preferences.
Slide the bar next to enable all so that it turns blue indicating that your eStatements are active.
Note: Be sure to check that your email is correct. If you need to update your email you can do so by selecting Manage email.
How to View Your Electronic Statements (eStatements)
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Statements from the main menu on the left side.
Select an account to view statements.
Your statement will load and you will be able to view, print, or archive it.
How To Deposit Checks in the Mobile App
Sign in to the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select Mobile Deposit from the menu options.
Tap the Take Photos button to start your deposit.
First, you will take a photo of the front of your check.
Next, you will take a photo of the back of the check. Make sure to endorse it in accordance with the instructions provided.
After your photos are uploaded, verify the amount is correct.
You can then add another check to deposit or select the Submit button.
Your check will be submitted to our Member Services department for review, and an email will be sent when it is accepted.
How To Reorder Checks
Sign in to Online Banking or the RiverLand FCU Mobile App.
Select More Services from the menu options.
Select Reorder Checks.
Select the Checking Account you would like to order checks for.
You will be redirected to Harland Clarke's website where you can reorder checks online.
